West Coast Swing Complications (Winter 2026)

When: Thursday, January 15 - April 2, 8:30PM - 9:30PM

Where: Churchill Seniors Recreation Centre

Each month we will build on your foundation in the dance by covering more advanced topics such as working with different connection points, mastering turn technique, extending patterns, and how to stay connected in those moments where you’re grooving. Check out our full schedule and overview of class content to understand what you'll be learning!

Entry into the class requires the following:

- Completed at least three Foundations class blocks.
- Successfully passed the audition. 

Auditions are held on the fourth week of each Foundations block. 

Audition criteria:
- Student can complete the following patterns without a partner accurately and on time: Left side pass, under arm turn, sugar push, sugar tuck, whip
- Student can complete the following patterns on time with a partner comfortably and on time: (all above) + inside roll

Petitions:
If you wish to join Complications but do not meet the criteria above, you may gain access in one of two ways:
1. Have at least one WSDC novice point.
2. Pass the audition with Todd in a private lesson.
