Welcome to the Rideau Swing Collective ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our website (the "Site") and the services provided, including but not limited to dance classes, workshops, and related products (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the "Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Site or Services.

1. Eligibility You must be at least 18 years of age, or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use our Services. By using the Site, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

2. Payment and Refund Policy All fees for classes and services must be paid in full at the time of registration unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change without notice. We accept various forms of payment as indicated on the Site.

We offer a refund for online dance class registrations 7 days prior to the class beginning. No refunds will be issued if the class has already begun. No refunds are provided on apparel unless the apparel was delivered damaged, misprinted, or in an unwearable state.

3. Cancellation and Rescheduling You may reschedule or defer any class registration with at least 3 days notice prior to the class. No credit will be issued for missed classes without prior notice. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule any class, in which case we will notify you and either offer a refund or credit towards a future class.

4. Use of Content All content provided on the Site, including text, graphics, videos, and images, is owned by Rideau Swing Collective. You may not use, copy, modify, or distribute this content without our explicit permission, except for personal, non-commercial use related to your participation in the Services.

5. Intellectual Property All trademarks, logos, and service marks displayed on the Site are the property of Rideau Swing Collective or other third parties. You are not permitted to use these without the prior written consent of the owner.

6. User Conduct You agree to use the Site and Services for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations.

  • Impersonate any person or entity.

  • Upload or distribute any content that infringes on the rights of others.

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, other user accounts, or systems.

  • Follow the Code of Conduct at all of our events.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties Our Services are provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Services, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.

8. Limitation of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rideau Swing Collective shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or Services. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the applicable service.

9. Indemnification You agree to indemnify and hold Rideau Swing Collective, its affiliates, its volunteers, and its staff harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of the Site or violation of these Terms.

10. Modifications We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms.

11. Governing Law These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
